I just had an 13 year old kid come to see me cos he was worried about all the evil things that were going to happen today.
I think that loud speaker in Parow was louder than any of us realised!

Her whole family called my best friend in France to tell her " don't give birth today" (as if she could choose !), and she waited until the 11th ... And I must say that I wasn't thrilled when the people from Eskom (the electricity company) came to insulate my geyser and painted an enormous, red, triple 6 on it - the number of geysers they had insulated so far. Now of course you guessed: they came on the 6th June 2006.I am thinking of painting other numbers next to it, like 7866654. Or maybe I'll just forget about it after all, my house is number 13. I hate being superstitious :-) Magali
